Yoga & Grief
A place to arrive
Grief does not live only in our thoughts. It can also be felt in the body – as tightness, restlessness, exhaustion or the sense of having lost your inner ground.
Move gently. Breathe consciously.
Yoga can create a quiet space where nothing has to be fixed or pushed away. Through simple movement, conscious breathing and small moments of stillness, you can reconnect with your body.
This kind of yoga may support you if you …
- feel emotionally exhausted or tense after a loss.
- long for a quiet and protected moment for yourself.
- want to rebuild trust in your body and your breath.
- want to give your grief space without having to find many words.
You do not have to be good at yoga
This is not about performance, flexibility or perfect poses. Every practice can be adapted. Pauses are always welcome. You decide what feels right for you today.
What a session can look like
A session can combine calm movement, breath awareness, gentle stretching, short meditations and conscious relaxation. The focus is on safety, slowness and respecting your own boundaries.
You may begin at your own pace
